A new study has shown that snoring can be reduced simply by singing - but the jury is still out on whether this will save your marriage.

According to the BBC, patients in a clinical trial by the Royal Devon and Exeter Hospital did singing exercises for a few minutes daily for three months to improve the tone of their throat muscles.

Alise Ojay, the choir's director and inventor of the Singing for Snorers exercises, said she discovered that people who sang the sounds ''ung'' and ''gar'' found that their snoring decreased or stopped.

About 80% of divorce cases registered in Saudi Arabia's Al-Qatif governorate are filed by women fed up with their snoring husbands, the Saudi Gazette reported.
