The skinny on Mrs Beckham

It has always been easy to hate Victoria Beckham, wife of soccer star David Beckham, for her permanently skinny frame, because it always seemed she had never had to work for it.

But the 39-year-old mother and wife turned fashion designer dons her trainers and tights daily to run 6km around the block, reports the UK's Daily Mail.

When Allure magazine quizzed her about the 34D breast implants she had inserted back in 1999, she said she did not have them any more .

But with the Beckham brood having moved back to London after stints in Madrid, Los Angeles and Paris, is she content?

She was quoted as telling Allure in its March edition: "Living in America for six years was the happiest I think I've ever been. It was much more accepting for a woman to have a career, as well as a man. And I loved it."
