The ANC has promised its supporters a big party tomorrow afternoon.

ANC victory bashes are known for their performances by celebrities such as Chomee, Arthur Mafokate, Zahara, DJ Sbu and bikers on Harley-Davidsons.

Yesterday afternoon, with just over 65% of the votes counted following Tuesday's general election, the ANC was firmly in the lead in most provinces - save for Western Cape.

Mafokate said he was at the ANC's headquarters to finalise plans for the bash.

ANC national spokesman Jackson Mthembu said full details of tomorrow's victory bash would be announced "soon".

eNCA political commentator Justice Malala tweeted yesterday: "Just been invited to four different #ANC celebration parties tomorrow. Woza Friday!"

The DA's Cameron Arendse said the only celebrations planned so far were to welcome back DA leader Helen Zille from Pretoria tomorrow.

Top choreographer and ANC supporter Somizi Mhlongo wrote an open letter on Instagram to Zille yesterday morning taunting her about racism in her province.

He wrote: "Dear mama Helen Zille. I hope by now u realise that it takes more than giving away free tshirts or kissing a black man in public or flying a plane with a banner to convince the majority to vote for u.

"We r not stupid. Start by fixing the racism in W cape then maybe we can talk."
