Resurrection cancelled

A 50-city US tour of the Andrew Lloyd Webber musical Jesus Christ Superstar has been cancelled at the last minute.

Apparently ticket sales were not sufficient to cover the show's extensive costs. Punk rock icon John Lydon had been due to play the part of King Herod.

More than 70 upset British cast members posted a picture of themselves giving a one-finger salute on social media.
