Life sentence for forensic auditor Lawrence Moepi's killers

Two men convicted of the murder of forensic auditor Lawrence Moepi were handed life sentences in the High Court in Johannesburg, according to a media report.

Mpho David "Thirteen" Nkosi and Remember Siphoro were sentenced on Thursday following a three-day trial.

The trial was the shortest ever in that court, the New Age reported.

Nkosi and Siphoro's sentencing coincided with what would have been Moepi's 42nd birthday.

The two men shot Moepi in the parking lot of the SizweNtsalubaGobodo offices in Johannesburg in October last year.

Siphoro was the father of Moepi's girlfriend's child, the paper reported.
