Scores die in road carnage

The Easter holiday road carnage appears to have reduced considerably, following decisive action by law enforcement agencies to deal with speeding motorists, drunk drivers and unroadworthy vehicles. Yet, scores of people have still been killed and injured on the roads.Automobile Association spokesman Marius Luyt said close to 40 people had died since the start of the holidays.
