Manchester City chairman Khaldoon al Mubarak will make the final decision on manager Manuel Pellegrini after Monday's defeat at Crystal Palace left the Chilean with a worse recent record than the form slump that cost David Moyes his job at Manchester United. City's slide down the Premier League table this season has left Pellegrini's position under serious threat.
