Bishop addresses society's anger at anti-xenophobia march

Methodist Bishop Paul Verryn today slammed xenophobia but said "we can't ignore the brokeness of this country. About 15 million people go to bed hungry every day. That is treason". "The anger we are hearing must be heard clearly or we will begin to fight amongst ourselves. Let us stand together to make a United Africa‚" Verryn told thousands of people at the anti-xenophobia march in Johannesburg.To those who use violence he warned: "The violent way will not end in the death of whoever you kill . That person you kill will remain in your consciousness for the rest of your being".Gauteng Premier David Makhura said: "Let us defeat xenophobia like we did apartheid"...
