Contributions pour into Sunday Times Emmanuel 'Sithole' Josias fund

In the wake of the death of Emmanuel 'Sithole' Josias, Sunday Times readers have continued to contribute towards a fund set up to help his family.

The Sunday Times published an eyewitness account by our reporter, Beauregard Tromp, and photographer James Oatway whose pictures of the unfolding attack on the Mozambican vendor deeply touched many of our readers who came forward with offers of financial assistance to Sithole's family. Response from the public has been overwhelming, with contributions, small and large, pouring in.

The Sunday Times is still gratefully accepting contributions, which will make a difference in the lives of the members of his family, left destitute by the loss of their breadwinner.
