HRC team in Worcester to investigate 'rights violations'

Human rights investigators arrived yesterday in Worcester after gardeners working in mostly white suburbs were issued with green ID cards. The cards, which have been likened to dompas of the the apartheid-era, were issued by the local Community Policing Forum and carried the SAPS insignia.Isaac Mangena, spokesman for the SA Human Rights Commission, said yesterday: " We have received several complaints from the community .
