What good are big shops when you don’t have an income and your life is in danger? That’s what President Robert Mugabe asked of Zimbabweans resident in South Africa‚ according to a report in Business Day on Thursday.Mugabe‚ whose remarks came after an extraordinary summit after Southern African Development Community in Harare‚ reportedly told media: "People must get back to their own country."People flock to SA because they think it is the heaven of Southern Africa…. It’s not just for SA to resolve‚ it’s up to us the neighbouring states‚" Mugabe added‚ making reference to the migration problem in the region.Zimbabweans are amongst the foreign nationals targeted in the recent spate of xenophobic attacks.“Yes‚ it’s highly developed‚ but go there and see that the Africans in the country are still very low‚” Mugabe told reporters."It’s the whites that are living better lives‚ more advanced lives.“I guess it’s the life‚ the big shops that attract you‚ but what good is it when you don’t have an income and you are in danger?”-RDM News Wire..
