Man shot dead at Chiefs game

A man was shot and killed during a chaotic end to the PSL match between Kaizer Chiefs and Chippa United at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth on Saturday night. The trouble erupted after the match when a large group of fans stormed onto the field.Police spokesman Captain Johan Rheeder said there was an altercation between a fan and a policeman during the pitch invasion."The fan had been trying to take the policeman's gun but, during the scuffle, the gun went off and a man was killed," Rheeder said. ..
