Illegal street racer loses his dice with death

A driver taking part in illegal drag racing in Ottery, Cape Town, died after he lost control of his car and ploughed into roadside poles. Cape Town's mayoral committee member for safety and security, JP Smith, said the accident happened on Old Strandfontein Road at about 1.30am on Sunday.This is one of the city's hot spots for drag racing.
