A drone carrying abortion pills is being readied to fly to Poland, where abortion is severely restricted. The "abortion drone" is being sent by not-for-profit body Women on Waves, which provides abortion pills around the world, to help Polish women terminate their pregnancy safely.Normally, the company sends the pills by post after orders are made online, but this is the first time it has used the unorthodox method of delivery by drone. On Saturday, it will drop a number of packages of abortion pills, approved by the World Health Organisation, over a Polish town on the border of Germany. The drone will be met by women's groups who will distribute the pills. In Poland abortions have been restricted since 1993.It is legal for a woman to terminate her pregnancy only when there is a serious threat to her health. ..
