Education department ignores another court order

The Eastern Cape department of education is in breach of a court order again, this time by failing to advertise teaching posts. It was ordered by a court in August to advertise vacancies by April 30.This was in response to a shortage of teachers that led to some classes having a hundred pupils, according to NGO The Legal Resources Centre.
