11 wounded during shootout at Soshanguve Plaza

Nine elderly bystanders and two security guards were shot and wounded during a cash heist at Soshanguve Mall on Wednesday morning‚ the SA Police Service (SAPS) said. Police believe that up to 10 armed suspects confronted Fidelity Security guards who were transporting money to a pension point.“The suspects fired shots randomly and managed to take a box with an undisclosed amount of cash‚” an SAPS statement said.
