'SAPS to be used as a good practice case study'

The South African Police Service (SAPS) “is headed in a positive direction”. National Commissioner General Riah Phiyega claimed this on Tuesday in the wake of the “decision by the Department of Planning Monitoring and Evaluation (DPME) to nominate the SAPS to be used as a good practice case study based on its performance on the Management Performance Assessment Tool (MPAT)”.
