The submissions by ministers of police and public works to the ad hoc committee on Nkandla basically verify the public protector's findings. How would a senior superintendent benefit by "name-dropping" the president when the only person who stood to benefit was the owner of the house and his family?The public protector has consistently noted that the president and his family "unduly" benefited from the upgrades at his home.
