Sandton streets shutdown

One of the richest parts of South Africa's richest city will be in lockdown for October. During that month, the movement of all private vehicles to and from the Sandton inner business district will be restricted, forcing motorists to walk, cycle or use public transport.Sandton will host the EcoMobility World Festival in October and the City of Johannesburg will be making drastic changes to the area's traffic flow to accommodate it.
