Brand new footage shows Cecil's cubs alive and well in a Zimbabwe national park. The stunning footage, released by African Bush Camps, who saw the pride on a game drive, shows seven cubs and three lionesses in Hwange National Park. The video has allayed Cecil fans' fears that a rival pride leader would kill the cubs.Earlier this month it was revealed that Cecil, who was well-known and liked among visitors to the park, was killed by Walter Palmer, a dentist from Minnesota. He is believed to have paid R700000 to shoot the lion with a bow and arrow.Zimbabwe hunter Theo Bronkhorst is due to stand trial on September 28 for organising the illegal hunt. There had been rumours that Cecil's "brother" Jericho had also been killed by poachers. However, these were dismissed on Sunday by the Zimbabwe Parks and Wildlife Management Authority.
