Raunchy restaurant opens amid storm in a C-cup

There was much a-hoot about nothing as the Eastern Cape’s first Hooters restaurant opened in Walmer‚ Port Elizabeth‚ at the weekend‚ ruffling a few feathers on social media. The raunchy franchise had people’s tongues wagging on Facebook‚ while the stakeholders laughed all the way to the bank following a packed opening on Saturday night.The successful first night followed heated verbal sparring between the city’s more conservative residents‚ who claimed Hooters was nothing more than a glorified strip joint‚ and the more liberal element‚ who said the city needed every bit of entertainment it could get and who could say no to a chance for kids to eat free on Sundays?A photograph of the sexy waitresses and general manager Donovan Noyle set off the vociferous to-and-fro on The Herald's Facebook page. - RDM News Wire, Heraldlive..
