Two reported dead in Clearwater Mall shootout

Two suspected robbers are believed to have been killed in a shootout with police officers during the failed robbery of a cash-in-transit vehicle at Clearwater Mall‚ west of Johannesburg‚ on Tuesday morning. This was followed by the news that police “foiled” an armed robbery at the East Rand Mall in Boksburg‚ and “three suspects were wounded and another four arrested” just hours later.
