Shakes Mashaba does not quite believe in home-ground advantage. In June, Gambia held Bafana to a goalless draw in Durban, Benin held hosts Equatorial Guinea to a1-1 draw, while touring sides Swaziland and Zimbabwe stunned Guinea and Malawi with victories in the opening round of 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifiers.
