SANDF confirms disciplinary action against soldiers who frequented DRC shebeen

Up to 50 members of the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) could be on their way home after apparently breaking curfew to go drinking. The SANDF on Thursday issued a statement confirming “that it is in a process of withdrawing some of its members deployed in the eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC)”.
