Phiyega fights back

National Commissioner of Police, General Riah Phiyega, yesterday submitted reasons to President Jacob Zuma as to why she should not be suspended. "President Jacob Zuma established a board of inquiry into the allegations of misconduct by ... Phiyega, and/or her capacity to execute official duties efficiently, on 22 September," a statement from the Presidency said yesterday.
