SA man braais for the beloved country

Durban's Masood Boomgaard has cooked his way into the history books - he now holds the record for the world's longest braai marathon. The trial by fire began at 5.30pm on Heritage Day and finished 81 hours later at 2.30am yesterday, breaking the 80-hour record set last year in Georgia in the US, by South African Jan Greeff.
