Boksburg car salesman to appear for child porn

A Boksburg car salesman, who is alleged to have taken advantage of his girlfriend's 4-year-old daughter by taking nude pictures of her, was expected to make his first appearance in the Boksburg Magistrate's Court on Friday.

The man was alleged to have taken around 50 pictures of the child and shared them online under the alias of "APE man".

The pictures were reportedly distributed to users as far as the US. They were first detected by Homeland Security in that country.

Police arrested the suspect at his workplace on Wednesday.

They raided his home where they found several laptops, external hard drives, cellphones, memory cards, a mini spy camera, a digital audio

player and a PlayStation console.

The 39-year-old man will face a charge of child pornography.
