Shark attack on southern Cape coast

A 42-year-old surfer yesterday survived a great white shark attack, in which his right leg was savaged, at Stilbaai on the southern Cape coast. The NSRI said two of its crew members surfing in front of the institute's base at Morris Reef helped the man from the water, assisted by a member of the public.
