ANC: Motlanthe has a point on party losing its way

The ANC has uncharacteristically accepted scathing criticism of the ruling party. In a conciliatory statement yesterday, spokesman Zizi Kodwa accepted as "pertinent" comments former president Kgalema Motlanthe made to Business Day. Motlanthe said he turned down a place on the party's national executive committee because some members would be prone to acting against the constitution.
