Cosatu 'respects' Motlanthe comments

Cosatu met former president Kgalema Motlanthe yesterday after he lashed the labour federation's leadership. Motlanthe lambasted the ANC's tripartite alliance with the SA Communist Party and Cosatu on Monday, saying it was "dead" and only "existed on paper".Motlanthe said the ANC was "presently made up mostly of members devoid of the kind of political consciousness required to maintain a united and nonracial society".
