UCT student bus destroyed after being set alight

Minutes after one of the University of Cape Town's Jammie shuttles was torched early this morning‚ Twitter was set alight. Students who had seen the vehicle go up in flames took to social media.Mapaseka Setlhodi wrote: "just heard the loudest bomb-sounding like noise ever (twice)''.And Morategi Kale said: Everyone is outside after loud explosions". Kale posted a 15 second video of the blaze.A notice was posted on the university's website. "The Fire Department quickly extinguished the blaze but the bus was destroyed. The bus was empty and at the depot at the time. Nobody was injured. The Jammie Shuttle timetable has not been affected and buses are running as per the timetable. UCT is working with the SA Police Service to investigate this matter.''Students were advised to contact the university if they had been ''affected'' by the incident...
