Top cop gunned down

Police are investigating the killing of a high-ranking and controversial Durban police official who was gunned down in front of his house. KwaZulu-Natal police spokesman Brigadier Jay Naicker yesterday said Innocent Chamane - a logistics manager in the Durban Metro Police - was killed at about 7.45pm on Tuesday in the Bhekisisa area near Inanda Dam.
