Violent TUT students disrupt exams

Exams were violently disrupted by rioting students at the Tshwane University of Technology's main campus in Pretoria West on Thursday afternoon. There was a strong police presence at the campus' main gate‚ with cars being stopped from entering the campus.A campus security guard said students from the Soshanguve campus had arrived earlier and violently disrupted exams and tried to burn down one of the buildings and pelted staff and other students with stones.
