Deal rankles taxi owners

Taxi operators affected by Durban's multibillion-rand integrated rapid public transport network can walk away from the industry or work with the city. Speaking at a briefing, eThekwini Municipality's public transport deputy head, Mlungisi Wosi-yana, said taxi associations directly affected by GO!Durban have the option of forming a company to negotiate a 12-year contract with the city to operate on various routes.
