Pay rise for domestic workers

The minimum wage for domestic workers will increase next month but "far too many" employers are still paying below last year's rates. "Out of 100 households, you get at least 20 who are paying below last year's minimum wage," said the general secretary of the SA Domestic Service and Allied Workers Union, Myrtle Witbooi.
