Afrikaans moviegoers 'demanding variety'

Afrikaans films are preparing to take a short left, but not before director Darrel Roodt delivers his take on a white Christmas. Roodt's film, Trouevoete, which he's described as a Christmas comedy, will premiere in cinemas across the country next month and while the romantic comedy genre is as Afrikaans as melktert, he said supporters are "over it".
