UJ student leaders ‘singled out for victimisation’

A group calling itself the Greater Johannesburg United Front has accused management of the University of Johannesburg (UJ) of breaking its word by proceeding with disciplinary action against three students. The group’s chairperson‚ Trevor Ngwane‚ described it as “the singling out for victimisation of the three student leaders” - Claire Ceruti‚ Xhamla Songwevu and Tshoarelo Mahloko - whose hearings are scheduled to go ahead on Wednesday.
