Van Rooyen 'bad for ANC in polls'

By appointing David van Rooyen as minister of co-operative governance and traditional affairs, President Jacob Zuma has damaged the ANC's election prospects for next year. This is the view of some ANC leaders following Zuma's announcement that Pravin Gordhan was to be moved from the department to return as head of the Finance Ministry.
