Lawyer pleads poverty after Bar expels him for not paying dues

The Cape Bar has ordered one of its former members to vacate his law offices by the end of next week or face litigation. The Cape Bar expelled Chumani Giyose in April last year for failing to pay his bar council dues and rent for the premises he occupied, and then failing to appear before the council.
