Officers have seized 32,000 Mandrax tablets in Belhar, Western Cape police said on Thursday.

The tablets, discovered on Wednesday morning, had an estimated street value of R960 000, said police spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel André Traut.

He said two suspects, aged 28 and 48, were arrested and would appear in court once charged.

The bust was made during Operation Fiela in the area, according to the SA Police Service Twitter Account.
