Workers embark on strike at Tshwane universities and colleges

Thousands of cleaning‚ gardening‚ security and other outsourced workers at universities and colleges in Tshwane began strike action on Monday as part of the #outsourcingmustfall campaign. The workers are demanding immediate permanent employment as well as a R10‚000 rand per month minimum wage and full benefits.
