'Fransman more than a touch bad for us'

Members of the ANC's provincial executive committee want Marius Fransman to step down as the party's chairman in Western Cape after he was accused of sexually harassing a female employee. Senior ANC officials in the province have so far allowed Fransman to stay on in his post but a PEC member said with municipal elections four months away, Fransman was a liability and he would ask that he step down, pending the conclusion of the criminal case against him.
