Jamie Foxx pulls man from burning wreck

When a pickup truck crashed outside Jamie Foxx's house in Los Angeles, the actor jumped into action, dragging the driver out of the burning wreck in case it exploded. Foxx, 48, ran out of his house when he heard the crash about 8.30pm on Monday, Bang Showbiz reported.TMZ.com said the bakkie had skidded on a wet road, hit a ditch and flipped over. It landed just outside the front gate of Foxx's house in Hidden Valley.Bang Showbiz said Foxx told California Highway Patrol that he had heard the accident and dashed outside. When he saw the burning pickup, Foxx realised that the driver was still strapped into his seat.Foxx unbuckled the man and dragged him about 10m from the burning vehicle in case it exploded.The actor had called emergency services before his real-life stuntman action.Paramedics arrived and took the man to hospital, where he was treated for major injuries and burns. His condition is not known.Foxx, believed to be dating actress Katie Holmes, is thought to have been unhurt, Bang Showbiz reported.This was not the first time he has done his own stunts. When a stuntman fell off a horse during the shooting of Django Unchained, Foxx stepped in and rode the horse himself.Speaking about his previous stunts, Foxx said: "Check out the scene where I have to ride bareback - that was real."I'm from Texas and have my own horse. I had to learn all the tricks and stunts."..
