MTN accused of tax evasion in Cameroon

MTN 's Cameroon unit denied implication in corruption-related activities after the central African nation followed authorities in Nigeria and Uganda in placing Africa's biggest phone company under scrutiny. MTN was among mobile-phone operators named for allegedly evading taxes in a report by Cameroon's National Anti-Corruption Commission, released in the capital, Yaounde, this week.
