Sars stops R23.4-million worth of fake footware at Lebombo border post

More than R23-million worth of suspected counterfeit shoes was confiscated by customs when a truck carrying them was stopped at the Lebombo border post in Mpumalanga last week. South African Revenue Services (Sars) spokesperson Sandile Memela said that the truck was travelling from Mozambique into South Africa.
