Enraged KZN community torches industrial hub

Protesting community members wreaked havoc yesterday in KwaSithebe, the economic hub of Mandeni in northern KwaZulu-Natal. The protesters blockaded roads and set fire to four factories, a truck, offices, five containers and two vehicles over the axing of a chief and inclusion of an ANC councillor as a candidate for the upcoming local government poll.
