Scare on FlySafair as tyre shredded

Passengers aboard a FlySafair flight from Cape Town to Johannesburg on Sunday experienced a tumultuous landing after one of the wheels on the plane was found to be shredded. Following an initial two-hour delay, flight FA102, which was scheduled to leave at 5.35pm, departed at 7.05pm and experienced what was described by passengers as a "bumpy" lift-off and a "rocky" landing in Johannesburg.
