Cape Town cops arrested for house robbery

Two Cape Town policemen were arrested for house robbery on Monday morning.The officers - aged 42 and 43 - are from the Nyanga Police Station on the Cape Flats.One was nabbed while on duty‚ the other at his home.They stand accused of being involved in a crime that took place at a house in Retreat in November last year."The arrest indicates that SAPS management is unequivocal in its quest to rid itself of bad elements within its ranks‚'' said Constable Noloyiso Rwexana in a statement.They will appear in the Wynberg Magistrates Court on Wednesday.- TMG Digital/Sunday Times..
