After two open-heart operations Greg Bertish was told he would never surf or do extreme sports again. Little did his surgeons know that Bertish is an enormous optimist. Which is why today or tomorrow he hopes to set sail from Cape Hangklip in his 8ft dinghy, The Little Optimist, bound for Langebaan, 200km away.
