SABC fires 123 employees‚ citing medical scheme fraud

The South African Broadcasting Corporation (SABC) is dismissing 123 employees‚ with immediate effect‚ after an investigation into medical aid fraud‚ the state broadcaster said on Tuesday. SABC spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago said in a statement the decision followed an intensive investigation into allegations of medical aid fraud.
